WHICH ONE ARE YOU ?

Lately I have noticed way more of the second type of people and I am so grateful for that!

Do you subscribe to kicking downwards, to make the younger generation ‘earn their stripes’ the way you had to? Or do you believe in extending a helping hand — or even changing the system so they’ll have an easier time than you did?

There are two types of people: those who say: “I went through it, so can they!” and others say “I went through it, now I want to make change so others don’t have to!”.

I’ve seen SO much of this second type of person lately, and I am inspired and grateful. I’ve been the recipient of so much insight and support and generosity. I do the same for others — whenever I can.

PAY IT FORWARD is the expression, but it’s not just about reaching a hand out to certain individuals. It’s about using your position, your insights, your experience, your influence, to benefit and empower others on a SYSTEMIC level.

Are you participating in sharing the hardships you experienced? Or are you consciously working to make things better for our future citizens, employees, and fellow humans? What’s the last conscious act of paying it forward you committed? I’d love to hear!
